What is a language ? Language is the principals method of human communication, consisting of words used in structured and conventional way and conveyed by speech, writing or gesture.

2. Function of language
Specifically, language has four or fibe main functions. They are expressive, informative, directive and survival and aesthetic.
The first use of language is defined as expressive, it allows people to express how they feel. It is a combination of multiple form of language.
The second function of language is for informational function. It allows people to inform any information to others.
The thirhd function of language is directive. It allows people to direct or give a command to others.
The fourth function of language is survival.
And the last function of language is an aesthetic.
3. Kind of language
As I know and ever studied about this term kind of language is two kinds.
The first is writing language.
The second is spoken language.
The third is gesture

1. Phonem - tidak bermakna. Contohnya huruf (letter)
2. Morphem - free morphem atau kata dasar and bound morphem atau kata yg sudah mendapatkan tambahan di awal yakni prefix atau di akhir dan disebut suffix. Kumpulan dari fonem dan sudah memiliki makna.
